The use of renewable energy may be a solution for green Christmas lighting. For example with wind and water power. The FCEV mentioned in the cartoon above is a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. It causes during operation no harmful exhaust gases. Hydrogen production can take place in summer, for example with surplus electricity from photovoltaic systems. The so-called season shift succeeds by storing the gas. And the reconversion is then done with fuel cells during the Christmas season.
